NISTEC AND DIGI-KEY WILL CONDUCT TRAINING IN MANAGEMENT OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN

The training will take place on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Nistec Group Head Office in Petach Tikva. The objective is to provide practical information as to how to manage the supply chain in a dynamic market, to shorten production and purchasing times, and to become familiar with the assembly process of the electronic board. 

The Nistec Group and the components distributor company Digi-Key, shall conduct joint training free of charge, for companies intending to carry out production prohects for electronic systems. The training will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Nistec Group Head Office at 43 Hasivim Street in Petach Tikva. Within the framework of the seminar training will be given regarding correct and speedy planning of the supply chain and a site inspection shall be carried out in Nistec’s factory for electronic boards assembly in Petach Tikva.

The objective of the collaboration is to supply practical information as to how to manage the supply chain in a dynamic market, to teach methods for shortening production and purchasing times, to become familiar with the process of assembly of electronic boards, from the planning stage through to the final product. The companies will give lectures on issues such as inventory management in a hybrid structure from NPI to mass production, methods of ordering components effectively and speedily, and more. Nistec shall conduct training on the issue of “How is it possible to shorten supply times? Tools and Methods”, and a site inspection shall be conducted on the assembly lines in the factory.

Nistec’s VP Marketing, Arbel Nissan, explained that the joint project was developed following the Group’s wish to help customers launch their product on the market more speedily and more efficiently. “For this purpose, we are happy with our collaboration with Digi-Key, which is currently one of the leading distribution companies worldwide in the field of electronic components”.
