Nistec has been awarded the international high quality standard for the production of automotive products – the first in Israel!
Nistec Merkaz is the first electronic manufacturing enterprise in Israel to receive the stringent quality standard 16949 IATF for the production of electronic products for the automotive sector.
The standard was provided by the British quality organization URS, after an in-depth coverage of the plant for an entire week including night shifts.
The high quality certificate will enable the company to manufacture and sell electronic products to the world’s largest car manufacturers such as Volkswagen, Toyota, General Motors, Mercedes, Honda and more.
“We have received a lot of quality standards to date, but this standard is particularly exciting to me,” said Moti Sidon, director of quality assurance at the company. “The standard indicates that the quality management at our factory is one of the highest in the world and is a certificate of quality for the Israeli industry”
